Art Mix: Heart & Soul-idarity
This month Art Mix is free and blends art with Black History Month and Valentine's Day. Dance the night away with DJ Rock Bottom, featuring a special performance by Tina B. and the Sacramento Soul Line Dancers. Enjoy spoken word/poetry/music performances in the Jazz'n Love Lounge, hosted by Sol Collective. Take part in an Open Mic competition and offer up your best love song interpretation. Make African-art-inspired accessories with Betty Davis and Yvonne Warren, and explore works by African-American artists in the Crocker's galleries.
Free admission sponsored by the California Legislative Black Caucus.
