The Crocker Art Museum's School + Educator Programs offer a full range of rich experiences designed to spark creativity and critical thinking. Each program is designed to support multiple grade levels and satisfy the California State Content Standards in a variety of subject matter, with a special emphasis in visual arts. The Crocker offers programs at the Museum as well as art education experiences at school sites.

Choose one of four easy ways to make a reservation:

  • Call the Education Department at 916.808.1182
  • Fax the Reservation Form to 916.808.7372
  • Email the information requested on the Reservation Form to the Education Department
  • Mail the Reservation Form to: School + Educator Programs, Crocker Art Museum, 216 O Street, Sacramento, CA 95814

When to Make a Reservation
Reservations must be made at least four weeks in advance. Due to high demand, making reservations at least eight weeks in advance is recommended. To receive the discounted rates for tours, groups must reserve four weeks in advance and payment must be made in one transaction.

All inquiries will receive a response by phone or email within five business days. Once a program is reserved, confirmation packets will be sent via email within five business days. If you do not receive written confirmation for your visit, or if the confirmation is incorrect, please call 916.808.1182 or email education@crockerartmuseum.org immediately.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations for tours, Artist-to-Go, or Crocker-to-Go programs must be made at least one week prior to the program date by calling 916.808.1182.

Cancellations for Tour + Art Workshops or Tour + Performances, received in writing a minimum of four weeks prior to the program date, will be refunded 50 percent of the total class fee. No refunds or transfer credits will be given for cancellations received less than four weeks prior to the program date.

There are no refunds or transfer credits for Educator Workshops.

Scholarships
A limited number of scholarships are available for teachers to attend an Educator Workshop or for schools with Title I status to participate in Crocker programs. A scholarship must be requested at time of reservation.
