Crocker Holiday Art & Craft Festival November 24 - 26

Double the Number of Artists at this Year’s Event

November 1, 2006 – Sacramento, Calif. – Instead of fighting the mall crowds during the holiday season, consider this year’s Holiday Art & Craft Festival at the Crocker.  Running from November 24-26, the festival will feature distinctive art work from 90 artists and craftspeople. The festival, which has doubled in size from last year’s event, will include a café and seating area by Gold Rush Grille.

Unique and one-of-a-kind gifts will make an impression on friends and family this holiday season. Visitors will discover a variety of items at a range of prices, including jewelry, gourmet food, ceramics and pottery, painting and watercolor, cards and ornaments: just add wrapping paper and you have a recipe for holiday success with everyone on your shopping list. Children and the young at heart can also have their picture taken with a Victorian Santa.

The festival opens on Friday and runs from 5:30 PM-9 PM.  Saturday hours are 10 AM-5 PM and Sunday, 10 AM-4 PM.  Members receive free admission and for nonmembers admission is half off the price of regular admission and includes access to museum exhibits. For more information, call the Crocker Art Museum Store at (916) 264-5531.

The event is presented by the Crocker Art Museum and the Creative Arts League.
