Every era has a soundtrack, and for the Bay Area Figurative artists, it was jazz. Join Capital Public Radio Insight host Beth Ruyak for a special live presentation of Sound Advice. Jazz Music Director Gary Vercelli will join Beth to discuss jazz of the mid-20th century, offer insights into the musical tastes of 1950s Bay Area, and play selections of jazz favorites as well as more obscure works that shouldn’t be missed.
