Kingsley Art Club Lecture Series: Kurt Fishback
My Life in Art: Portraits of Artists in their own Space
March 16, 2016
Founded in 1892, the Kingsley Art Club promotes knowledge and appreciation of art among its members and in the community. The Kingsley monthly lectures feature local and regional artists and other arts insiders. Practicing and teaching as a fine artist and photographer for more than 20 years, Kurt Fishback began making environmental portraits of fellow artists in their personal space, recently focusing on female artists in order to bring gender parity to his archive. Space is limited, and reserving tickets in advance is recommended.
