TrueStory: Remembering 1963

In conjunction with the exhibition Rebirth of a Nation: Travis Somerville's 1963, TrueStory presents an evening of personal narratives about the year 1963, in the exhibition's gallery space. Writers and poets will share their experiences, memories, and interpretations of this remarkable year in American history. TrueStory is a nonfiction literary reading series created and hosted by Elaine Gale, Associate Professor of Communication Studies and Journalism at California State University, Sacramento, and Janna Marlie Maron, editor and publisher of Under the Gum Tree magazine.
