Joyce Raley Teel

Following in the footsteps of my father, Tom Raley, I am a steadfast advocate of Sacramento and her strides toward greatness. The Crocker Art Museum presents our city with unmatched history and permanence. My family believes that the expanded museum presents a wonderful opportunity for us to give back to the community for generations to come, just as Mrs. Crocker had done before us.

Help Create the Masterpiece

The Crocker has successfully set out on a bold effort to secure $100 million to realize the vision of a truly world-class art museum. This campaign amounts to the largest fundraising effort conducted for a cultural cause in Sacramento. The campaign has already succeeded in enlisting unprecedented generosity.

While the Museum’s campaign leadership maintains its current focus on securing $50,000 and more via multi-year commitments, it eagerly anticipates the opportunity to conduct a broad scale community effort.

Here are a few of the numerous ways you can give to this historic endeavor:

  • Pledged Gifts – Pledging your gift of cash over a five-year period may allow you to make a more substantial gift while affording you the opportunity to adjust the timing and amount of each payment to achieve the most beneficial tax treatment.
  • Planned Gifts – Planned or deferred gifts are an excellent way to make a gift to the Crocker while retaining the ability to receive the income generated by the asset until your death.

If you are ready to become part of this historic endeavor and wish to make your pledge now, please download and mail the donation form. If you have any questions or prefer scheduling a meeting to discuss the best way to leverage your gift to the expansion, please contact the Campaign Office, Crocker Art Museum, 216 O Street, Sacramento, CA, 95814, or 916.264.1175.

Because each individual’s tax situation is unique, and because tax laws are subject to change, it always is advisable to obtain the professional services of an attorney, accountant, trust officer, personal financial planner, or another professional for individual estate planning and tax consultation.
