Every year, the Museum relies on the generosity of friends like you to support, through your donations, educational programs and exhibitions that stimulate, inspire, and build connections.
$50 can: Help Maintain Crocker Art Packs (family educational materials avaiable through the Sacramento Public Library). Or mat a drawing or photograph for display. Or give one free family admission pass to a student participating in an on- or off-site program.
$100 can: Enable staff to research and produce visitor information about a new work of art. Or support the design and publishing of a gallery handout. Or provide WIFI service for Museum visitors for one month.
$250 can: Provide time and materials needed to share a treasured work of art such as Childe Hassam's Portrait of Miss Weir, which was recently lent to an exhibition in Italy. Or support a performance in the Classical Concert series. Or illuminate a work of art such as Thomas Hill's Great Canyon of the Sierra for one year.
$500 can: Cover the cost of mounting a student or community art exhibition. Or provide security for one day. Or cover the supplies for painting the walls of a special exhibition.
$1000 can: Allow a work of art to be transported to the Crocker for a special exhibition. Or cover the cost of freight to transport the mobile education center Art Ark to a school. Or allow conservators to clean a small work of art.
Thank you for your support!
