Plein Air Painting
For Adults
Three Saturdays, July 13 - 27
9 AM - 12 PM
With the great outdoors for inspiration, this class will cover composition, drawing, atmospheric perspective, color mixing, and more. Learn how to increase your ability to see values and edges as they change throughout the morning. No matter your level of experience, you will enjoy individualized feedback. The class will meet at Miller Park on July 13, the UC Davis Arboretum on July 20, and in downtown Winters on July 27.

About the Instructor:
Marie-Therese Brown was born and raised in San Diego. She taught elementary and high school art in Central America and California for many years. After retiring from teaching in 2003, she decided to pursue a full-time painting career. She regularly paints plein air scenes of the Sacramento region and Central Coast and has painted her world travels.
