By popular demand, there is now a second session of this class! Whether you're a connoisseur or simply curious, this class will enthrall all art lovers. Natalie Nelson, Executive Director of the Pence Gallery in Davis, will share fascinating background information on specific works of art on view. By the end of the class, you will have a toolkit of innovative and thought-provoking ways to view and discuss art.

About the Instructor:
Natalie Nelson currently manages the nonprofit Pence Gallery in Davis, a position that entails balancing the creative needs of artists with the Pence's interest in serving the community. Since 2005, she has curated 12 exhibits annually of works by local and regional artists. She has a master's in art history/museum studies from the University of Southern California, and has developed programs for youth and teacher audiences through staff positions at the Oakland Museum of California and the Crocker.
