Learn how to compose a story illustration in the manner of Norman Rockwell, using the same methods as the famed artist. After viewing and discussing his book illustrations and magazine covers, take photographs of your family and friends in various poses and settings. Using these photographs for reference, you will create a story illustration of your own. This class is recommended for students with some drawing and painting experience.

About the Instructor:
Marsha Schindler has been an exhibit designer, educator, and muralist for more than 15 years. She has a master's in art from California State University, Long Beach. Currently she teaches at the Art Institute of California – Sacramento. Schindler will also teach Mural Painting.
