Explore the winning ways of watercolor in this two-day workshop. We'll cover all the basics: from brushes, paint, and paper to washes, glazes, and special effects. Hone your color mixing and brushwork skills. Instruction includes step-by-step demonstrations for simple and successful watercolors that glow.

About the Instructor: 

Kathy Lemke Waste is known locally as the creator of "One Perfect Thing: A Page from an Artist's Journal," a yearlong watercolor celebration of local bounty in the Sacramento Bee. She served as artist-in-residence at Shriners Hospital for Children, and has taught many workshops throughout the area.
