The Crocker's Mort and Marcy Friedman Director Lial A. Jones will discuss the golden age of American illustration as she leads a special tour of American Chronicles: The Art of Norman Rockwell. After the tour, join her at the Crocker Cafe by Supper Club for a delicious sampling of classic American desserts and dessert wines.

The Crocker Art Museum holds a variety of special events throughout the year, including two signature events: Crocker Ball and Art Auction. These events raise vital support for the Museum's education programs and exhibitions.

Save the date for the 52nd Crocker Ball on December 7, 2013. Sacramento's premier black-tie gala kicks off the holiday season on the first Saturday in December, and has supported arts education for five decades. The Crocker Ball is a dazzling evening with fine cuisine, live music, dancing, and an exciting live auction.

The casually elegant evening, held the first Saturday in June, includes dinner and an exciting live auction. Proceeds support the exhibitions and education programs of the Crocker.

Music, artist demonstrations, a good time, and a great cause. The festive silent auction party, held the last Thursday in May, showcases the works of Big Name regional artists. Each Small Art work measures in at 12 x 12 in. or smaller. Bids starts at $25, so anyone can start or add to their art collection.

For the past 40 years, the Art & Antiques Show & Sale has been the place to find unique collector items, from vintage jewelry to antique furniture and more. The event showcases regional and national dealers with one-of-a-kind wares, and experienced specialists to answer your conservation and restoration questions.
