Asian cultures are rich with visually dazzling heroes and mythical creatures. Hear stories from all over Asia while looking at gods, goddesses, and more in the galleries. Learn how to depict heroes such as Buddha, the frightful Bhairava, the elephant-headed Ganesha, and Chinese dragons through sculpture, Chinese brush painting, and mask-making.

About the Instructor:
Laurie Seban is a northern California native with a master's in art history from the University of California, Davis. She currently teaches Native American art at Sacramento State. For the last 20 years, she has also taught preschool and elementary art/art history classes, using hands-on projects that bring the art world to life for children.
