Crocker Kids Drama Club
For children in grades 3 - 6
8 Thursdays, January 17 - March 14 (No class on February 21)
4 - 5:30 PM
This unique drama club uses the Crocker's galleries as a stage and its world-class art collection as a backdrop. Starting with fun theater games and improvisation, learn to act out dramatic skits based on art in the galleries. Help create an original performance and present it to family and friends at the last club meeting. Each participant receives four free guest passes (includes Museum admission) to the final performance.

About the Instructor:
Lynn Baker has directed and produced more than 20 productions for youth and created youth theater programs at Sacramento Theatre Company and Ryerson University Theatre School in Toronto, Canada. Recently, she was chosen as an artist-in-residence for the Any Given Child program in Twin Rivers Unified School District. Baker has also taught at California Musical Theatre and in various local school districts. She received her bachelor's degree in Dramatic Arts from UC Berkeley and completed an internship with Shakespeare Santa Cruz and an apprenticeship with B Street Theatre.
