About Events

The Crocker Art Museum holds a variety of special events throughout the year, including two signature events: Crocker Ball and Art Auction. These events raise vital support for the Museum's exhibitions and education programs.

Crocker Ball

Sacramento's premier black-tie gala kicks off the holiday season on the first Saturday in December, and has supported community-based arts education for five decades. The Crocker Ball is a dazzling evening with fine cuisine, live music, dancing, and an exciting live auction.

Art Auction

This popular Sacramento event, held annually the first Saturday in June, is a fun way to begin or build your art collection. The casually elegant evening includes dinner and an exciting live auction. Big Names, Small Art

Music, artist demonstrations, a good time, and a great cause. The annual community celebration, held the last Thursday in May, showcases the works of "Big Name" regional artists in a silent auction. Each "Small Art" work measures in at 12 x 12 in. or smaller. Bids starts at the small price of $25, so anyone can start or add to their collection.

Art & Antiques Show & Sale

For the past 40 years, the Art & Antiques Show & Sale has been the place to find unique collector items, from vintage jewelry to antique furniture and more. The event showcases regional and national dealers with one-of-a-kind wares, and experienced specialists to answer your conservation and restoration questions. Holiday Art & Craft Festival
