 rese Brown was born and raised in San Diego. She taught elementary and hig
 h school art in Central America and California for many years. After retir
 ing from teaching in 2003\, she decided to pursue a full-time painting car
 eer. She regularly paints plein air scenes of the Sacramento region and Ce
 ntral Coast and has painted her world travels.\n\n
