 .D.\, is an art history and art studio professor at various colleges and u
 niversities. He has lectured internationally and is the founder of Chilam 
 Balam\, an international art journal published by University of California
 \, Davis. He is a muralist\, with works on view at UC Davis and California
  State University\, Sacramento campuses. Soltero has authored books on dra
 wing and sequential art.\n\n
