Take a trek through Kathmandu Valley in the galleries with Curator Nancy Tingley, viewing and discussing the exhibition Celestial Realms: The Art of Nepal from California Collections. This is a rare opportunity to see an exhibition devoted exclusively to Nepalese art. Gain an in-depth understanding of what objects mean to their makers and the cultural and intellectual context from which the objects were created. The gallery tour will be complemented by a lecture and slide presentation, with questions and casual conversation encouraged.
