Monday - Friday, July 8 - 12
1 - 4 PM

Learn the science of making paper, make your own unique sheets with various types of materials, assemble 3-D papier-mâché sculptures, and collaborate on designing and building an installation sculpture in the studio. You will also hear about advanced paper engineering techniques from special guest artists.

Mid-day care is available for $20 (lunch not included). Call 916.808.1182 to register.

About the Instructor:

Emma Moore, the Crocker's Manager of Experiential Learning, creates innovative museum programs for children, teens, adults, and families. Her affiliation with the Crocker began 15 years ago. As a life-long learner, she nurtures her creativity through clay sculpture, drawing, and extreme art-viewing. Moore considers teaching a form of art and delights in connecting artists and community. She holds a degree in business and studio art.
