About the Instructor:

Jan Schubert is an early childhood educator of 23 years, whose interest in handwork and textiles began when she learned to knit at the age of seven. She was introduced to felting needles many years ago, a happy occurrence which precipitated the creation of many charming creatures, and gave her the confidence to write and illustrate a children's story, The Sun Seed
