 atalie Nelson currently manages the nonprofit Pence Gallery in Davis\, a p
 osition that entails balancing the creative needs of artists with the Penc
 e's interest in serving the community. Since 2005\, she has curated 12 exh
 ibits annually of works by local and regional artists. She has a master's 
 in art history/museum studies from the University of Southern California\,
  and has developed programs for youth and teacher audiences through staff 
 positions at the Oakland Museum of California and the Crocker.\n\n
