Holiday Monday: Noon Year's Eve Family Festival

At last, a New Year's celebration everyone can stay awake for. Families can count down to the New Year at noon. At this fun and free celebration all ages will learn about New Year festivities from around the world through live music and dance performances featuring the Golden Turtle Lion Dance Association, Non Stop Bhangra, Capoeira Água de Beber, storyteller/juggler Izzi Tooinsky, and the City of Sacramento Pipe Band. The celebration will also present New Year's traditions from the Jewish Federation of the Sacramento region PJ Library, Sacramento Chinese Culture Foundation, KIDS FOR PEACE and grownups too, and Sojourner Truth Multicultural Art Museum. Participate in a dance-athon hosted by the Sacramento Ballet, plenty of hands-on creative activities, and a rousing rendition of Auld Lang Syne by the hand bell choir Bel Tempo Ringers.
The Museum will be open and free from 10 AM to 5 PM for the Holiday Monday.
In addition to the two City of Sacramento parking lots, more parking may be found at 400 Capitol Mall (enter at N and 4th Streets). Please note that fees for all on and off street parking will be enforced.
