Figure Drawing for Beginners

Using a nude model as your subject, learn simple techniques to draw the human figure. View different examples of how figure drawing can be applied to portraiture and sculpture, and gain an understanding of basic anatomy and how to use charcoal and pencil to depict volume.

About the Instructor: 

Marcelle Wiggins is a Sacramento-based oil painter, currently working with digital imaging, drawing media, and painting. She holds a master's in painting from San Francisco Art Institute. She has taught college-level studio art since 1986 and currently teaches drawing and painting at Cosumnes River College.
