For Ages 13-17
Be inspired by an in-depth look at local artist Gong Yuebin's striking sculpture installation in the historic ballroom. Then learn how to hand-build and shape clay to produce a two-foot-tall, free-standing figure.

About the Instructor:
Julie Didion has been immersed in the creation, marketing, and teaching of art for more than 20 years. She guides students of all ages to discover the magic, energy, and sheer delight of creativity through the art of clay sculpture. She has taught at Sacramento Country Day School and Caleb Greenwood Elementary. She holds a bachelor's in studio art from California State University, Sacramento, and is a gallery associate at the Art Foundry Gallery.
