For Ages 9 – 12

Monday – Friday, July 16 – 20
9 AM – NOON

Decode drawings and paintings with a critical eye. Using many different tools, you'll learn how to draw from observation, give objects a 3-D look with shading, and create contour lines, gesture, and value drawings. Produce a variety of drawings and select one to frame yourself. Instructor: Raphael Delgado.

About the Instructor:

Raphael Delgado is currently living and working in Sacramento and has become a leading regional abstractionist and a champion for art therapy. In 2010 he was named the Arts & Business Council's "Artist of the Year" largely due to his Crayons to Canvas Art Supply Drive. His unique artwork is included in numerous private collections throughout the nation, and he maintains a very loyal collector base in Sacramento and the Bay Area.
