Learn how to use the unique qualities of watercolor and a simple color palette to create a beautiful still life. Through discussing and practicing principles of composition, color harmony, and form building, you will gain a better understanding of painting.

About the Instructor:
Marie-Thérèse Brown was born and raised in San Diego, California. She taught elementary and high school art in Central America and in California for many years. After retiring from teaching in 2003, she decided to pursue a full-time painting career. She regularly paints plein air scenes of the Sacramento region and Central Coast and has painted her world travels.
