Kids Art Club - Ages 4-5
For Ages 4 - 5
Five Thursdays, January 17 - February 14
9 AM - Noon
This club will help prepare your child for time away from home in a fun and engaging setting. Each session will begin with storytime in the galleries, with observation of a related artwork and discussion of how visual details can convey a story. The depiction of stories through art will be reinforced in the studio, where children will learn how to make a variety of rod, shadow, hand and other traditional puppet forms. Children will be invited to create their own stories and act them out with their puppets in a mini-theater.
