Art comes alive through music. Students investigate connections between art and music in this exciting program. Explore artwork on view at the Crocker and listen to a musical performance in the Setzer Foundation Auditorium.

African Art and Drumming
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 14, NOON
The continent of Africa is rich in history, diverse cultures, languages, and artistic expression. Discover how art and traditional life in Africa are united as you explore the Crocker's collection of African art and hear the sounds and rhythms of diverse African societies through a live drumming performance. Advance registration is required. Recommended for students in kindergarten or higher and open to all school groups. To register, call 916.808.1182.

Group Size & Chaperones:
Total program capacity is 130 participants. One chaperone is required for every five students

Fees:
$8 per student. Required chaperones are free. Additional chaperones are $4 per person.
