To help us protect the art and ensure each visitor has an enjoyable experience, we ask that you abide by the following guidelines and policies:
|
|||||||||||||
| Do not touch. Works of art in the Museum are meant to last for generations, and the slightest touch can cause paint to crack, flake or peel. Also, over time, the natural oils from skin will corrode the surface of an artwork. | |||||||||||||
| Leave potential damaging articles behind. We ask that you keep food, drinks, gum, umbrellas, backpacks and ink pens out of the galleries. A parcel check is provided for your convenience. Strollers, chest-carried baby packs and pencils are permitted. | |||||||||||||
| Turn off your cell phone. To ensure a pleasant environment for all guests, please refrain from using your cell phone inside the Museum. | |||||||||||||
| Please ask about our photography policy. Artwork in the Museum’s permanent collection may be photographed; however, flash, tripods or video equipment are not permitted. Photography of special exhibits or loaned artworks are not allowed due to copyright restrictions. It is best to ask the Front Desk Visitor Services Representative or a Security Officer about which works can be photographed. | |||||||||||||
