About the Collection

There are over 20,000 artworks in the Crocker’s collection. Objects and collections are rotated frequently through the Museum's active exhibition program.

The Crocker Art Museum acquires objects appropriate for its collections through gift, bequest, and purchase. Objects are acquired if they complement or supplement a collection area, or if they fill a gap.

If you are interested in donating a work of art, please email curatorial@crockerart.org with an image of the work you are proposing for donation and any information you have on artwork (e.g. artist, title, date, dimensions, medium). Due to the volume of donation proposals, we cannot guarantee an individual response.

Please note that donations mailed to the Museum or left at the front desk cannot be accepted.

Image requests for scholarly, educational, or similar uses can be made to curatorial@crockerart.org.

If your interest is personal, please contact the Museum store at museumstore@crockerart.org for authorized fine art reproductions.
