Volunteers are integral to everything we do here at the Museum. From educational programs to fundraising events to office projects, the work of our dedicated volunteers helps us provide outstanding arts experiences to our community. There are many different types of volunteer opportunities at the Crocker, so whether you love engaging with a crowd or prefer a quieter, behind-the-scenes task, there is something for everyone.
There are numberous benefits to volunteering at the Crocker, including:
Free admission to the Museum.
Exposure to new and different life-long learning opportunities.
Invitations to volunteer appreciation events.
An expanded awareness and appreciation of the arts.
Opportunities to build relationships with Museum visitors, staff, and other volunteers.
If you itemize your tax deductions, you can deduct the cost of mileage accrued for the purpose of volunteering.
Attending a Volunteer Information Session is the first step in becoming a Crocker volunteer. Sign up here if you'd like to be notified of the next scheduled session.
Crocker volunteers must be 18+. Youth and student volunteer projects, including all internships, are managed by the Crocker's Human Resources team. For more information, please email camajobs@crockerart.org or call (916) 808-1195.
